As Chief Technology Architect, Ly Kao designs and oversees the infrastructure that powers everything — the pricing engine, eligibility, APIs, and background workers that put accurate pricing directly in a lender’s LOS — not a side tool, not a spreadsheet, not a workaround.

Ly Kao optimizes how lenders distribute pricing — taking the real process of how rates and products move from capital markets to the originator and turning it into a fast, automated pricing engine that keeps lenders competitive. The goal is straightforward: reach the market quicker, with fewer manual steps, and let the engine do the work.

Most technology partners take the process at face value. Ly Kao’s curiosity drives him to dig deeper — assessing the landscape, finding every landmine before it goes off, and making sure problems never make it to the client in the first place.

Life outside of Lender Price

Outside the office, Ly Kao is constantly exploring the edges of what’s possible — experimenting with every AI tool that piques his curiosity, such as Grok and Claude for thinking and code, Suno for music, Meshy for 3D design, and Nano Banana for AI image editing.

It’s the same instinct that drives his work at Lender Price: stay curious, keep experimenting, and never stop looking for a better way.

And if you’ve seen Kung Fu Panda, you know Mr. Ping didn’t work alone. Neither does Ly Kao. As a Co-Founder alongside his brother Ly Kou — our CTO and the Po to his Mr. Ping — the two have been building Lender Price’s foundation together since 2015. Different roles, complementary strengths, one shared mission. Just like in the film, the combination of the two is greater than one alone.
